My Approach

I understand anxiety not just professionally, but personally. As a lifelong competitive athlete, I’ve experienced firsthand how pressure, self-doubt, and fear can interfere with performance—whether on the field, in high-stakes moments, or in everyday life. I know what it’s like to want to perform at your best and feel held back by something you can’t simply “push through.”

In my coaching practice, I help individuals move beyond managing anxiety and begin transforming their relationship with it. My approach is compassionate, collaborative, and deeply respectful of your unique experiences. Together, we work to understand the root of your anxiety, so that change feels lasting—not like a constant uphill battle.

Whether you’re an athlete, a professional, or someone navigating performance pressure or anxiety in any area of life, I offer a space where you can feel supported, understood, and empowered to perform with more clarity, confidence, and ease.

My Methods

​

Traditional performance anxiety coaching is about managing anxiety so you can perform well and often produces quick results. It gives you tools like reframing negative thoughts, breathing exercises, or visualization, to stay in control and get the job done, even if you still feel nervous.

 

IFS-informed coaching is based on Internal Family Systems. It takes a different angle, where instead of trying to control anxiety, it treats it as a part of you that’s trying to help in some way. The goal isn’t to silence it, but to understand it, build trust with it, and reduce the need for it to show up so intensely. In simple terms, traditional coaching says, “How do I perform even though I’m anxious?” IFS-informed coaching says, “What’s behind this anxiety, and how do I work with it?” Learn more about IFS.

 

Both types of coaching can be very effective and I often will use a blend of both to help you achieve your goals.
