My Background in Mindfulness
I'm a mindfulness and anxiety alleviation expert. Tired of feeling anxious myself, I started going to Buddhist meditation classes. I spent years practicing meditation and other stress reduction techniques, learning to calm my mind and allow space for a happier, more peaceful, and more meaningful life. Wanting to share these techniques with clients, I started researching how to incorporate mindfulness into a Western psychology framework. I have since become a frequent speaker on mindfulness, integrating a Buddhist and cognitive therapy perspective. I have trained other counselors to use stress alleviation and mindfulness meditation techniques in the context of psychotherapy. I am a featured meditation teacher on the app Insight Timer, where my guided meditations have been listened to by thousands of people all over the world. I am passionate about sharing the mindfulness tools that have helped me with others.
