About

My Approach

Kathryn Soule headshot

I help women and members of the LGBTQ+ community move beyond managing anxiety and into actually feeling different, more grounded, more confident, and more like themselves.

My approach is based on the belief that anxiety isn’t something to fight, it’s something to transform at its root. I use IFS (internal family systems) and EMDR (eye movement desensitization and reprocessing, therapies that go beyond coping skills and work with the brain’s natural process of memory reconsolidation to update the emotional patterns driving anxiety. This means we’re not just helping you get through anxious moments, we’re creating lasting change.

This work is deeply meaningful to me both professionally and personally. I’ve experienced EMDR and IFS as a client, and through that process, I’ve connected with a more authentic version of myself, feeling more genuine, more peaceful, and more whole. That experience shapes how I show up in the therapy room and strengthens my belief that real transformation is possible.

My goal is to help you move out of survival mode and into a life that feels fully your own. If you’re ready for anxiety to not just feel manageable, but truly different, I’d be honored to work with you.
