Therapy in France
English-Speaking Psychotherapy for Anxiety in Paris and Throughout France

If you're looking for an English-speaking psychologue in France, you don't have to settle for simply learning to manage anxiety.
Â
I'm Kathryn Soule, PhD, a licensed psychologue in France and a Licensed Professional Counselor in Texas.
Â
I provide psychotherapy for adults located throughout France, with online sessions available nationwide and in-person therapy in Paris.
Â
My work focuses on anxiety and the deeper patterns underneath it, including OCD, panic attacks, trauma, phobias, self-doubt, and avoidance.
Anxiety Therapy for English-Speaking Expats
Moving to France can be exciting and deeply meaningful. It can also bring challenges you didn't expect.
Â
Even when you've wanted this change for a long time, living in a new country can bring loneliness, uncertainty, self-doubt, identity changes, relationship stress, and a surprising amount of anxiety. You may find yourself overthinking everything, questioning decisions you used to feel confident about, or struggling to feel settled in your new life.
Â
Sometimes the move itself isn't the real problem. A major transition can simply bring old patterns to the surface. Therapy can give you space to understand what's happening beneath those reactions and work toward feeling more grounded, confident, and at home in your life here.

I work with English-speaking adults from a wide range of backgrounds, including expats, international professionals, trailing spouses, students, and others building a life in France.

A Little About Me
I'm Kathryn Soule, PhD. I've spent more than 15 years working with people through some of the most difficult and vulnerable periods of their lives.
Â
I'm a licensed psychologue in France and a Licensed Professional Counselor in Texas, and I've specialized in anxiety throughout my career. My approach draws from IFS, EMDR, and an understanding of neuroscience and how to help the brain update old patterns using memory reconsolidation. I'm particularly interested in helping people understand why they continue to experience patterns they consciously want to change.

I recently moved from Texas to Paris myself, so I understand that building a life in France can involve both excitement and uncertainty.
